1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using GeorgeSt (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Halfdays AI, LLC, a South Carolina limited liability company.
2. What GeorgeSt is — and is not
GeorgeSt is a permit intelligence instrument that analyzes proposed building projects against the review criteria used by Charleston County municipalities. The Service returns a sourced report with findings, a readiness score, and recommendations.
GeorgeSt is not legal counsel, professional architecture, professional engineering, or a guarantee of permit approval. The Service is a research and preparation tool. It does not authorize construction, grant permits, or substitute for review by the Board of Architectural Review, the Board of Zoning Appeals, the Technical Review Committee, or any other governing authority.
Always consult your architect, attorney, and the relevant municipal counter before acting on any finding in a GeorgeSt report.
3. Your content
You retain all rights, title, and interest in the plans, drawings, narratives, and other content you upload to the Service ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content solely for the purpose of generating your pre-flight report and delivering it to you.
We do not claim ownership of your User Content. We do not use your User Content to train AI models. We do not share your User Content with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.
You represent and warrant that you have the right to upload any User Content you submit, and that your User Content does not violate any third party's intellectual property rights.
4. Prohibited uses
You agree not to use the Service to:
Upload content you do not have the right to upload, including plans for projects you do not own or represent;
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code or models underlying the Service;
Use the Service to submit automated queries at volumes that interfere with the Service for other users;
Misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
5. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that findings in a pre-flight report will reflect every consideration a reviewing board may raise. Charleston County ordinances, board precedents, and staff interpretations change regularly. GeorgeSt's findings reflect our best reading of the current index at the time the report was run.
6. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HALFDAYS AI, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR PROJECT DELAYS, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100).
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Halfdays AI, LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
8. Access and pricing terms
At launch, GeorgeSt pre-flights are provided without fee. We reserve the right to introduce paid tiers, usage limits, or feature restrictions in the future. Any changes will be communicated to existing users at least 30 days in advance.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with reasonable notice where practicable. You may stop using the Service at any time.
On termination, your User Content will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 5–7, 10, and 11) will survive.
10. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Charleston County, South Carolina.
You and Halfdays AI, LLC each waive any right to a jury trial in any such dispute.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify users by email (if we have your email) and post the updated Terms here with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
